Kenneth Fred Feckers, 63

Kenneth Fred Feckers, 63, of Clarksville, Iowa, passed away Monday, October 3, 2022, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.



Kenny was born on March 31, 1959, in Waverly, to Fred and Minnie (Hersey) Feckers. He graduated from Plainfield High School. Kenny was united in marriage to Janet Schmidt on December 5, 1981, at the Little Brown Church in Nashua.



Kenny was a farmer, a mechanic and a “jack of all trades.” He grew row crops, raised hogs and previously raised cattle and turkeys. Kenny worked for several dealerships as a mechanic and recently for Niehaus Welding Works in Clarksville.



When Kenny wasn’t working, he enjoyed tinkering, fixing anything, telling jokes, and especially being with his family. Together they went on many family vacations, and they never missed a Sunday dinner. Kenny’s grandchildren meant the world to him. He looked forward to seeing them, having them stay overnight, teasing them, and spoiling them.



Kenny is survived by his wife, Janet Feckers of Clarksville; daughter, Kendra (Neal) Rochford of Westgate, and their children, Olivia, Logan and Sophie; daughter, Kayla (Jeremy) Wolf of Nashua, and their children, Katelyn, Jenny and Laura; son, Kory (Alecia) Feckers of Clarksville; mother, Minnie Feckers of Clarksville; sister, Eileen (Darwin) Kluiter of Clarksville; brother, Dan Feckers of Plainfield; niece, Jennifer Elliott of Clarksville, and her children, Ashton and Ava; nephew, Jason Kluiter of Clarksville; and mother-in-law, Eloise Schmidt of Greene.



He was preceded in death by his father, Fred Feckers; and father-in-law, Harry Schmidt.



Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, October 8, 2022, at the Greene Community Center, 202 W South Street, Greene. Burial took place in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Greene. Visitation was held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, October 7, 2022, at Counsell Woodley Funeral Home, 519 N 1st Street, Greene.
