Trailer park fire leaves mobile home demolished

CLARKSVILLE – At around 7:45 a.m. on Wednesday morning, April 3, a 911 call was made reporting a fire in Clarksville’s trailer park located at Jefferson and Fremont Streets.

The fire left one mobile home, located on Fremont Street, demolished. Nearby homes also were damaged from the fire. Occupants of the demolished trailer were reported to have been moving into a neighboring home. Firefighters at the scene reported no injuries and stated that the cause of the fire is undetermined at this time. The Clarksville Police Department reported that a dog and rabbit were rescued by firefighters.

Members at the scene included the Clarksville Fire Department, Allison Fire Department, Shell Rock Fire Department, Clarksville Police Department, Butler County Emergency Management, and Mid-American Energy.
