ALLISON — The Butler County Board of Supervisors moved through a brief agenda Tuesday morning Nov. 18, addressing routine business items and receiving several departmental updates.

County Auditor Leslie Groen informed the board that the federal government has posted a 2.8% Cost-of-Living Adjustment for Social Security in 2026. She said she would reach out to the Compensation Board to arrange its upcoming meeting in light of the newly released figures.

County Engineer John Riherd provided a brief update on ongoing projects, noting that his office continues to review Efficiency in Action documentation from affiliate agencies. He reported that work is progressing on Dumont’s Main Street this week.

Supervisors approved the weekly claims before turning to the second-tier canvass of the Nov. 4 city and school election. Results were read into the record as required.
