Delmar ‘Del’ Nicklaus

Delmar ‘Del’ Nicklaus, 92, of Eagan, Minnesota, passed away Saturday, June 20.

     A memorial service was held Friday, July 3 at St. Paul’s United Methodist in Mendota Heights, Minnesota.

     Delmar was born April 17, 1928. In his youth, he traveled the world as a radio operator for the U.S. Navy. Del was a loving family man and dear friend who delighted in children and babies, and always had a ready smile and encouraging words for all.

     He was an active member of his church, St. Paul’s United Methodist in Mendota Heights, Minnesota.

     He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Gerry; four children: Randy, Suzette, Rochelle, and Sheila; 10 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren; as well as his brother Kent, and numerous nieces and nephews.

     Del was preceded in death by son Ricky.
