Christmas at Clarksville Skilled Nursing

Clarksville Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center had a full house on Friday, as residents and families gathered for the 15th annual Christmas Program.
     After dinner was served to over 175 guests, everyone enjoyed Christmas music as Daniel Derifield sang and played traditional favorites. Sandra Lebeck read the Christmas story, and staff presented a live nativity featuring Joseph, Mary and Jesus, an angel, the three wise men and shepherds.
     Lola Clark played the piano and Derifield sang a Christmas carol as each group joined the nativity scene. Carols included “Mary, Did You Know?” and “While Shepherds Watched.”
     Then Frosty was welcomed on stage as everyone sang “Frosty the Snowman.” Frosty was followed by the Elf, Santa and Mrs. Claus, whose entrance was announced with “Here Comes Santa Claus.”
