An empty spot in the heart of Allison has now been filled. Bill Zeciii, who formerly owned the County Seat Diner in Allison, has returned, bringing life to the Allison Café. The restaurant, which most recently was Wink’s Diner, opened on July 6.
Menu selections include hearty Midwestern fare, from breakfast items like biscuits and gravy to lunch options ranging from melt-in-your-mouth hot beef sandwiches to burgers and tenderloins.
Zeciii offers over 30 years of experience in the food industry. He started his career working at his uncle’s restaurant in Chicago, and six years later opened a restaurant in Rockford, IL.
After many years, he moved to Genoa. His next stop was Allison, where he operated the County Seat Diner for four years. He sold the building, and owned a restaurant in Sumner for six years.
