The second tenant of Butler Logistics Park, Zinpro Corporation, held an open house for the public Friday.

After two years of construction, several hundreds flocked to the rural Shell Rock facility, just west of the Flint Hills Resources ethanol refinery, for a free steak sandwich meal served by the Butler County Cattlemen, and a tour of the manufacturing plant.

Free marketing materials and giveaways courtesy of Zinpro and Butler County Development Corporation were snatched upin the larger-than-life interior.

Employees led tours on the manufacturing side of the multiple level building, including a peek up the tallest structure made through slip form construction. The other side of the superstructure, the warehouse, had pallets of both raw materials and finished product scattered in the open space.
