Younger crowd comes to second Lesch-Nyhan conference

Clarksville residents Clarksville residents Michelle and Dave Lucas hosted and planned the second annual Lesch-Nyhan Syndrome Conference June 19-22.

The couple began the event last year in honor of their late sons, Keith and Daniel, as well as for Timmy and his parents.

As the only get together in the nation for the rare condition associated with gout and kidney problems, eight individuals and their families gathered for the four-day long event, traveling from Ohio, Illinois, Minneapolis and Cedar Falls.
