Wilder Park was abuzz with activity on Friday evening, June 2. Young people enjoyed a dodgeball tournament, while small children had their faces painted, received balloons from the balloon man and played in Jumping Jim’s Bouncy Houses and Inflatables. Walking tacos, brats and ice cream was served. The highlight of the evening was the crowning of Miss Allison and Little Miss and Mr. Allison, and a performance by Dueling Pianos.

Saturday morning, some of the more ambitious members of the community joined in the Wilder Days 5K. In the 14 and up age group, winners were Eric Bremer, Caleb Wilkeren and Gary Abbas. In the 14 and under age group, winners were Dawson Clark, Ezra Almelien and Tanner Arjes.

The Lions Club served an omelet breakfast, and after garage sales kicked off, there was a car, motorcycle and tractor show.

At the parade themed for “Our Town America, Red, White and Blue,” Grand Marshalls were Jack and Carolyn Cooper.
