CLARKSVILLE – The first words out of Clarksville volleyball coach Brandon Zelle’s mouth when talking about his team’s 3-2 match loss to Riceville were, “too many errors.”
He expounded on the fact that his Indians committed 29 attacking errors and 18 service errors as the Wildcats left town with a 23-25, 25-20, 25-22, 25-27, 15-10 win over Clarksville on Monday, Sept. 25.
“You can’t win that way,” Zelle said after mentioning the errors. “Forty-seven points we gave them out of 113 and you give them half of their points, you’re not going to win many games that way.”
The full story appears in the Oct. 5 print edition of the Clarksville Star.
