CLARKSVILLE – Not only was Clarksville sophomore Kori Wedeking one of the top girls’ basketball players in the Iowa Star North, she was named part of the elite division of the conference, which includes both divisions, announced last week.
Wedeking was the only player on the North Division who was a unanimous first team vote-getter for coach Ross Timmermans’ team.
The 5-foot-8 guard for the Indians led the conference in scoring at 14.8 points per game, steals at 109, second in assists with 96 and was among the top-10 in blocked shots.
The full story appears in the March 1 print edition of the Clarksville Star.
