Wedeking to state in four events

EDGEWOOD – Kori Wedeking will run the maximum events in her first state track meet this weekend in Des Moines.

The Clarksville freshman is the top-seeded runner entering the 3,000 after winning the event at the Edgewood-Colesburg 1A district meet on Thursday, May 11.

She was the only Class 1A runner to break the 11-minute mark, clocking in at 10:59.06, another school mark for the Indians.

Clarksville finished in a tie for sixth in the 13-team girls field.
