Wedeking repeats as first team all-stater

DES MOINES – Clarksville sophomore pitcher Kori Wedeking repeated as a Class 1A first-team all-state pitcher by the Iowa Girls Coaches Association, announced last week.

Wedeking finished with 0.84 ERA, third best in Class 1A behind state champion Mikayla Houge of Collins-Maxwell and Kendra Cooper of Kee, Lansing. She also held opponent’s batting average to .133...
