Vohres to serve as first grade teacher

Melissa Vohres will serve as the new first grade teacher at North Butler this year.
     A mother of three North Butler students, Vohres has worked as a stay-at-home mom for the past 10 years. With all of her kids in school now, she decided it was time to join the North Butler team.
     “I just really believe in their values, and the community is such a neat community with so many nice families and really strong relationships. It’s a family of good people, and we’re blessed to be part of that,” Vohres said.
     Although her home is in the Charles City school district, it’s just north of Greene, and she and her husband Ray chose to open enroll their kids in North Butler.
