Two Bearcats earn all-conference

SHEFFIELD – One girl and one boy earned all-conference (top-10) finishes for North Butler during the Top of Iowa East meet held at Ridge Stone course in Sheffield and Manly’s Pioneer Town & Country Club, respectively.
Laura Kreimeyer finished seventh with rounds of 52-50 – 102 as the Bearcats were sixth in the nine-team field.
“Laura has been playing well the last couple of weeks and I would look for her to have a good chance to advance out of our regional on Monday (May 15) if she continues and improves on her play,” North Butler head coach Todd Thompson said.
Meanwhile, Beau Thompson took fifth at Manly, carding 42-41 – 83.
