There were a few interesting sports stories to come out of Butler County in 2017 involving football, wrestling and track & field, to name a few. Below are the top stories to hit the area.
1. Football cancellations, etc. With low numbers due to illness and injuries, the Bearcat football team was forced to forfeit a few games mid-season. After the season was over, and both Clarksville and North Butler High Schools agreeing to share wrestling, both also agree to share football in 2018.
