“He who works with his hands is a laborer. He who works with his hands and his head is a craftsman. He who works with his hands and his head and his heart is an artist,” Louis Nizer once said.
     By those standards, Mike Tobin is all three, a laborer, craftsman and an artist—as well as a police officer.
     Tobin and his wife Jennifer moved to Clarksville after he was hired onto the police force in October. In his spare time, he enjoys woodworking.
     “I like to work…” Tobin said. “I can’t sit still. I enjoy spending time with family, being out in the shop or out on patrol. I’m always doing something.”
