Thunderstorm makes game a wash

HAMPTON – A light rain in the top of the second inning between the Bulldogs and North Butler quickly turned into a thunderstorm, halting and then completely calling off this non-conference game.
Since the inning wasn’t completed, the score reverted back to what it was before it started, leaving it a scoreless tie.
The Bearcats were poised to take a 3-0 lead with two outs and Levi Lubben batting, but a storm that had been brewing for the last hour and a half was unleashed...
