Support for Indian track & field felt at state

DES MOINES — From the first state meet experience to the last, Clarksville track athletes felt the support from their community in Des Moines.
 
With senior Spencer Gray competing in the long jump a large contingent of fans from Clarksville made up the far northwest corner of the stadium stands.
 
The Indians’ lone boys’ competitor, Gray, finished 17th in the long jump in his first and last chance to show what he could do in the state field.
 
“Well, It’s a great way to end my season, my senior year, I had a blast,” Gray said. “It’s definitely a whole other ball game down here..."
