Smith gets send-off at All-Star meet

CHARLES CITY – North Butler coach Gordy Smith had a final send-off of sorts by coaching the South team to a 36-25 win over the North in the North-South Senior All-Star meet at Charles City on Saturday, April 13.
Smith coached against another long-time North Iowa coach, Mason City Newman’s Mark Bertsch.
