The Shell Rock Mill celebrated its 150th anniversary with guided tours on July 4.
The mill, owned by Daryl and Diana Pals is now operating as a vacation rental for families and groups looking for a place to relax for a week or weekend.
The first level of the mill is fully furnished with room for six adults. There’s a kitchen, bedrooms, living space and a beautiful view of the Shell Rock river.
The deck level, which will be ready most likely by the end of July, will have room for four adults, and people will be able to rent that separately or with the main floor for larger gatherings and family reunions.
