Serving up a sweep

CLARKSVILLE – Living and dying by the serve, Clarksville lived it up in a 3-0 sweep in its first home volleyball match against Valley Lutheran.
A little extra work on serving for senior Paige Morrison paid off as she tallied seven of the team’s 20 aces, including the final two of the match in order to finish off the Crusaders in the 25-14, 25-22, 26-24 victory on Thursday, Sept. 7.
“It was super-exciting because like my coach always reminds me to breathe before and it really helped me tonight,” Morrison said. “I came in an hour early and started practicing on them..."
