Savvy Seniors: Meet Pam Kyhl

Pam Kyhl, 73, of New Hartford, enjoys small-town living
     Originally from Shell Rock, Kyhl attended Shell Rock Elementary School. What she remembers most about her school days is how some kids would try to swing over the top of the playground swing set. They never did, but they got pretty close. She enjoyed playing tag and jumping rope.
     Contrary to popular lore, she said life wasn’t so bad in those days.
     “We didn’t have to walk uphill sharing shoes,” Kyhl joked.
