Saluting our Veterans: Craig Harris

Pastor Craig Harris of Allison enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1976 at the age of 17 and served until 1979.
     He was sent to Orlando, Florida for nine weeks of basic training. In basic training, he learned discipline and acquired a sense of patriotism.
     Then he was given two weeks of apprenticeship training where he learned ship procedures in preparation for being sent to sea.
     He was sent to Coronado Island in San Diego and boarded the USS Constellation carrier.
