A royally great fair: Hippen enjoys life as Butler County Fair Queen

ALLISON - How does the Butler County Fair Queen fulfill her queenly duties while participating in livestock shows?
 
“I’m getting about four hours of sleep a night,” laughed Korrigan Hippen, this year’s Butler County Fair Queen.
 
Hippen, crowned Miss Aplington earlier this month, also took home four trophies in the fair’s horse show.
 
When she wasn’t attending events throughout the fairgrounds as the queen, she was in the horse barn tending to her animals.
