Rehabilitation Center welcomes new administrator

The Rehabilitation Center of Allison has a new administrator, Lisa Forcier. She has a passion for positivity and looks forward to continuing the tradition of quality care that has won the facility a five-star rating and two Governor’s awards.
     Forcier took the reins on May 1 after spending 12 days in April working alongside former administrator Kathy Miller, who will continue to serve as administrator at Maple Manor in Aplington, another ABCM Corp. facility.
     Working in long term care has been a lifelong pursuit for Forcier. She started working in a nursing home as a CNA at the age of 16–and loved the experience. After taking a break from the workforce to start a family of her own, she returned to the healthcare field and earned her degree as a licensed physical therapy assistant.
     “If you work in long term care, you know you’re meant to be in long term care. It’s something you cannot deny,” Forcier said.
