Poppe is a finalist for People's Choice Award

Maddie Poppe of Clarksville, the 2018 winner of American Idol, has been voted a finalist for the E! Network's People's Choice Award as Competition Contestant of 2018.
In the final round of voting, she will face off against Nikki Bella of Dancing with the Stars, Brynn Cartelli of The Voice, Cody Nickson of The Amazing Race and Eva Igo of World of Dance.
The competition started with 12 nominees in each category, and is now narrowed down to five in each category.
Voting for the final round will be open until October 19, and the awards will be announced at 8 p.m., Sunday, November 11 during E!'s broadcast.
