An estimated 900 people gathered to hear Mollie B and the Jim Busta Polka Band in concert Sunday evening at Reading Park in Clarksville.
Mollie B (Mollie Busta) is the host of RFD-TV’s Mollie B Polka Party, and this year marks her fourth performance at the Reading Park bandstand.
The evening kicked off with “Let’s Dance the Polka,” and saw some join in dancing as Mollie and the band performed pieces ranging from “The Country Girl Polka,” “Wooden Heart,” and “Starlight Dance” to “Green, Green Grass of Home,” and Patsy Cline’s “I Fall to Pieces.”
“We like the country music and the waltzes. … Whenever she’s been here, we’ve been here. We just like the music,” said Joann Bartlett of Clarksville.
