There was one fatality in a house fire in Clarksville Monday evening.
The Clarksville Fire Department was paged at about 9:30 p.m. after a passerby noticed the blaze.
    One person was found deceased.
The Clarksville Ambulance, Clarksville Police, Butler County Sheriff’s Office and Butler County Emergency Management assisted on the scene, and the Allison Fire Department provided mutual aid.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
Firefighters were on the scene until 2:30 or 3 a.m. They were later paged back at 5:21 a.m. due to re-ignition. Due to the unsafe condition of the house, they elected to let it burn to the ground. Firemen were still on the scene at 10 a.m. Tuesday morning.
