This school year, North Butler welcomes Spanish Teacher Angie Holzer to the Bearcat team.
Holzer comes from Charles City, where she taught Spanish for 14 years. Previously, she taught at Nora Springs for nine years.
“I just wanted a change—to try a smaller community. Plus, it’s a quick drive from my house. I live 10 miles north of here,” Holzer said. “Everybody has been really nice and helpful. I’ve met quite a few students briefly, and they seem really good.”
She tries to make her classroom interesting and fun and wants kids to come to class ready to really learn. She believes in being consistent and strict but fair. She will be teaching Spanish I to Spanish IV.
