North Butler School Board votes to advertise for bids for Greene Elementary site

ALLISON — The North Butler School Board rejected on Wednesday, July 16 a proposal to sell the closed Greene Elementary School to the city of Greene for one dollar and bear the costs of removing a fuel oil tank on the site, as Superintendent Joel Foster said the city had requested, choosing instead to advertise the building site for bid. 
  [After discussion, board member John] Moellers made the motion and board member Gail Arjes seconded.
  Board members present all voted in favor of putting the building site up for bid — Scott Bruns, Laura Staudt, Gail Arjes, Jon Heuer, John Moellers and Eric Bixby. Board member Kristy Lammers arrived during the following agenda item.
