North Butler Homecoming

“We’re All in this Together,” was the theme for the 2017 North Butler Homecoming, and Brandon Trees and Abbie Wix were crowned Homecoming King and Queen.
     Festivities started on Wednesday, October 4 with a Mascot Walk from the elementary school to Wilder Park, as North Butler joined the Iowa Healthiest state initiative challenge.
     Students brought sack lunches, and participated in Crazy Sock day. Each student paired up with a buddy on the walk to see Buddy the Bearcat. 
            “When students exercise, and move, we see increased success academically and socially,” Elementary Principal Laura Tracy said. “We’re working to integrate exercise into the school day.”
