North Butler duo earns first-team district

GREENE – North Butler seniors Bryce Trees and Pacen Hendricks were the two first team all-district vote-getters for Class 1A District 3, announced recently.

Trees missed at least three weeks of the season due to injury, but still amassed 43.5 tackles, which led the team.

Hendricks, who emerged as the sole quarterback a few weeks into the season, was 34-of-86 passing for 312 yards and two touchdowns while rushing 95 times for 398 yards and six more scores. Hendricks was also voted the team MVP.
