North Butler-Clarksville earns regional dual berth

CLARKSVILLE – In its first season competing together, North Butler and Clarksville wrestling achieved a Class 1A regional dual berth by finishing runner-up at the sectional meet.
Clinching it was a win by forfeit for 126-pounder Trevor Brinkman in what otherwise would have been a wrestleback to advance to the district meet this Saturday.
Riceville’s top-seeded Adrian Kaski, who had been struggling with a shoulder injury all day, was upset by fall against Northwood-Kensett’s Caden Schrage in the final, forcing the wrestleback.
