No. 13 Butler survives against W. Fork

SHEFFIELD – West Fork coach Abbee Dickman had heard that North Butler’s softball team was without four-year starting ace Taylor Graven.
And Dickman got the game she was expecting in a back-and-forth contest that saw the Bearcats rally from a run down to score three in the top of the seventh – all with two outs – and withstood a two-out rally of the Warhawks own in the bottom of the seventh for a 7-6 North Butler win.
The game ended when Bearcat back-up catcher Kristen Dralle bobbled the ball, but recovered to get West Fork’s Rachael Hubka trying to steal third.
“I guess she (Dralle) bobbled the ball and I didn’t give her (Hubka) the steal sign,” Dickman said...
