New ownership at Lodge Machine

“I hope to keep it running just like it has been,” Bruce Lodge told the Star in 1998 after purchasing Smith Machine Shop on North Main in Clarksville.
     Twenty years later, that’s a sentiment new owner Kyle Adams echoes. He purchased the business at the beginning of June.
     “I’ve worked here for a long time [16 years], and Bruce was ready to retire, so we decided to make the transition…” Adams said. “I don’t really have a vision for much change, just to maintain it and maybe grow a small bit.”
     Lodge Machine machines parts for equipment manufacturers. They create small parts for everything from agricultural equipment to appliances and automotive parts. They work for both small and large customers.
