New cabin at Wilder Park

There’s a new cabin at Wilder Park this year, the second of a planned half dozen cabins for the park.
     “It gives people that don’t have access to an RV the opportunity to spend a week, few days or a weekend at the park and have a nice facility available to them,” said Park Board President George North.
     Unlike last year’s cabin, this cabin is rustic—not equipped with running water. It is located close to the shower house, is furnished with beds and tables, and has air conditioning. Rates are lower.
     “It’s more Spartan. We’re kind of researching the usage of the different configurations before we move further with additional cabins,” said North.
