National Nursing Home Week: Staff wheelchair races held

Staff at Clarksville Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation took part in wheelchair races on Friday, May 13 as part of National Nursing Home Week. (No injuries were reported.) Cari Knowlton won the final round by tiebreaker, after she and fellow Certifi ed Nursing Assistant Makayla Kincade had tied in their fi rst round at 11 seconds. Asked about her arm strength, Knowlton said she played basketball while at Simpson College for her bachelor’s degree and did some weight-lifting at that time.
