Maintenance looks at payoff on sweeper attachment

CLARKSVILLE — City maintenance purchased a street sweeper attachment for the front of an end-loader this month, which is expected to pay off in five years, compared to a rental sweeper.
  On Monday, Maintenance Superintendent Matt Kampman shared plans to sell the old street sweeper, a 1978 Elgin Pelican that needed extensive engine work and was worn out overall, he said.
