Last-second shot downs Bearcats

GREENE – Morgan Thieman’s basket and foul with less than 10 seconds left helped Rockford escape North Butler with a win on the Bearcats’ Senior Night, 45-43, on Friday, Feb. 1.
A close game throughout, neither team led by more than four points and the score was tied at halftime and after the third quarter.
“They worked hard, they battled, they played hard,” North Butler coach Megan Neuendorf said. “They just have to keep our composure in the end..."
