The old elevator office on Main Street in Allison has been resurrected by Landers-Ulfers Insurance agency. The Ulfers moved into their new office on April 2 after revamping the interior, installing new flooring, painting and cleaning.
Landers-Ulfers Insurance purchased the office from Landus after they heard rumors the building might be torn down. They didn’t want to see a bare spot in town. They hope to improve the face of Main Street and are actively looking for a new business to fill their old office.
“The biggest thing is it gave us a little more space,” said Ethan Ulfers.
Landers-Ulfers Insurance is a family business, owned by Milt and Marilyn Ulfers since 1982. If you stop by the office on any given day, you’re likely to be greeted by agents Ethan Ulfers and Kristen (Ulfers) Wix.
