   Karl went to heaven Saturday, February 21, 2015.
   Funeral Services for Karl were held Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at Aplington Evangelical Presbyterian Church with burial in Pleasant View Cemetery. Military rites were provided by Aplington AMVETS Post #102.
   Memorials may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice, St Jude’s Children Research Hospital, or the Veteran’s Honor Flight.
   Redman-Schwartz Funeral Chapel in Aplington is in charge of arrangements.
