DUNKERTON – Clarksville’s girls’ basketball team held a 29-27 lead against then-Class 1A No. 4 Dunkerton as late as a few minutes to go in this Iowa Star game at Dunkerton.
But a steal, basket, and-one for the Raiders’ Carli Tiesinger put them ahead for good in this eventual 34-31, low-scoring tilt on Tuesday, Dec. 19.
Dunkerton hit its free throws down the stretch to seal it.
The full story appears in the Dec. 28 print edition of the Clarksville Star.
