CLARKSVILLE – The Indians withstood a flag-filled game to put a 42-14 beating on North Iowa on Friday, Sept. 22 at home.
Clarksville improved to 2-3, 1-1 in Class 8-Player, District 2 with the convincing win.
Spencer Gray had a big night for the Indians, rolling up more than 200 yards rushing and two touchdowns for coach Adam Anthony’s team.
“North Iowa was a physical team and came off the bus ready to play,” Anthony said. “They threw a defense at us that we have not seen this year and it took us a quarter to adjust to it. Spencer Gray had another great game carrying the ball with 217 yards and two touchdowns of 65 and 61 yards.”
