Indians keep hold of Iowa Star title

TRIPOLI – Clarksville’s girls golf team made it a high-five as the Indians remained the Iowa Star Conference champions for the fifth straight year.

Capri Rabatach stepped up big for coach Jill Norton’s team to earn medalist runner-up with two solid rounds – 49-48 – 97.

But more than that, all four Clarksville scores that counted reached all-conference status by finishing among the top-10. In fact, all four were top-six.

“I told the girls no pressure,” Norton said of the girls vying to keep hold of the trophy. “I am extremely proud of my team..."
