Indians fall in Class 1A quarterfinal

DES MOINES -- The Clarksville girls' basketball team ended its season with a 62-49 loss in the Class 1A quarterfinal against Bellevue Marquette on Wednesday, Feb. 27.
The first trip to the state tournament for the Indians in school history, they came out confident but a momentum switch in the second quarter went the Mohawks' way.
A large crowd came to support Clarksville (20-3) with a group that will return the majority of its team (four starters, two reserves).
Kori Wedeking notched a double-double with 20 points and 11 rebounds before fouling out with 26.3 seconds left in the game.
