Indian boys’ golf team tops Rockford

CLARKSVILLE – Zach Sommerfelt was the medalist runner-up as the Clarksville boys golf team opened the season with a 183-195 win over Rockford at C.A.R.D for a home dual on Monday, April 7.

Sommerfelt shot 42, four strokes back from the individual medalist, Ryan Turner.

The Indians had good conditions to start, but rain and cold swept in to make the second half of the meet less comfortable.
