Hometown Entrepreneurs: A sparkle for jewelry

Aside from the brick-and-mortar business of downtown Clarksville, there are many home-based business throughout town, owned by everyone from crafters who make their own products to consultants selling items from Pampered Chef kitchenware and Rada Cutlery to Paparazzi jewelry.
     One such entrepreneur, independent consultant Carrie Frerichs, was hard at work selling jewelry at the recent Clarksville garage sales.
     “[I enjoy] getting to meet new people and watching the smiles the jewelry brings to people’s faces,” Frerichs said.
     Frerichs offers a wide variety of jewelry through Paparazzi Accessories: short and long necklaces, earrings, bracelets and rings—and almost every piece is the same price, five dollars. All kids’ jewelry is a dollar a piece. Special, more expensive, pieces and sets are also available.
