Hometown Entrepreneurs: The Rustic Dragonfly opens for the summer

DUMONT— Bobbie Johnson’s advice for prospective entrepreneurs is simple, “Don’t get into antiques; they’re expensive.”
     That’s advice she ignored as she turned her passion for collecting into a business. Johnson strives to offer antiques at affordable prices in her shop, The Rustic Dragonfly, on Main Street in Dumont. The Rustic Dragonfly re-opened for the summer on May 5.
     “I like antiques, and it’s an addicting habit,” Johnson said.
     She ran out of room at her house for her collections, and decided to open an antique store.
