Hard work and a happy life: Krull to celebrate 100th birthday

What’s the secret to a long happy life? If you ask Berniece Krull, it’s hard work.
     Krull resides at Valley View Apartments in Greene and will celebrate her 100th birthday on October 27 surrounded by her five sons and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
     She spent her life working on the farm.
     Born near Vilmar in 1918, she moved to Bristow with her family at the age of 11. Even as a child, she helped feed the chickens and milked six or seven cows by hand.
